Animals are acutely sensitive to energy. They respond to it in the people around them, in their environment, and — given the opportunity — in the healing that Reiki can offer. Michelle has worked with horses, dogs and cats across North Essex for many years, and the results she has witnessed range from the quietly encouraging to the genuinely remarkable.
Reiki for animals works on the same principles as it does for people: promoting deep relaxation, supporting the body's own capacity for recovery, and addressing the emotional and energetic layers that physical symptoms often sit within. It can be particularly effective for animals going through a period of stress or adjustment, those recovering from illness or injury, and those displaying behavioural patterns that seem rooted in anxiety or past experience.
Sessions take place at your home or yard, in the animal's own environment, where they feel most at ease. Michelle works gently and without imposition — following the animal's lead throughout, never forcing contact, and allowing the session to unfold at whatever pace feels right.
